Testimonials

We covered more theory in this one course than all 4 years of my art history courses combined…Through our in class discussions Kim allowed us to explore our ideas while still pushing us to formulate well rounded/well thought out critiques and ideas.

Kim makes art history feel relevant to contemporary art today.

She provides clear explanations of concepts and is always willing to listen to students' comments and questions.

She was a fantastic instructor who is obviously passionate about the material… She explained concepts well, and encouraged discussion among students.

I found myself excited to attend her class.

[The course] was very inspiring and really brought my hope back for academia. It was the first time for me to be reading Indigenous literature in our school and it felt so important and made me feel seen… I really loved your pedagogy and way of facilitating the lessons.
